There is a great cozy and family atmosphere in this restaurant. There is usually a wait but it's well worth it. The pizza has a great crunchy and crisp crust. The garlic bread is superb and there are lots of good topping options including lots of seafood.

Great pizza combinations and a cozy interior. Fun to see the non-matching plates and utensils! Pizza is delicious and there is a huge selection to pick from. The seafood pizzas are great as well as the many kinds of ravioli.

I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is delicious and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we have a gorgeous evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I drove 90 plus minutes to give Roseland a try. And I understand how subjective taste in pizza is. But this place just didn't rock my world like I hoped. The garlic bread with cheese was ok but pretty salty. The pepperoni Pizza was good to quote good but lacked much flavor. It was good. Just not worthy of very good or great. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this 7.4.

Awesome pizza, can be a wait

Burnt barely edible. I made the mistake of not looking at my pizza-to-go before I left for home. Ive always been impressed with the their sit down dinners, but I will get my pizza somewhere else.

I haven't had this pizza since the 1990s. It was good back then from what I remember. I got a large pepperoni pizza last night. The pizza was excellent but, they charge extra money for mozzarella cheese, so I had to get a 2 topping pizza, cheese and pepperoni. I wish the crust wasn't burnt. The pizza cost more than I expected. I saw a menu that listed a 2 topping pizza as $18.50, my total was $20. I was asked if I wanted garlic, I asked if it cost more money and was told no. Idk if they charged me or the price has changed. Even still I would order again from them. Very tasty pie. Semolina on the bottom, good sauce, lots of pepperoni.

Great apizza! Started with fried calamari then went with a large special (mozzarella, mushrooms, sausage). Very, very good. Excellent service. Nice place.

I don't know what to say about ROSELAND EXCEPT A-1 SERVICE AND A-1 QUALITY FOOD AND PORTIONS YOU CAN'T GO WRONG ORDERING ANYTHING OFF THEIR MENU EVERY ITEM IS A HIT AND YOU BETTER GO EARLY ON THE WEEKENDS BECAUSE THEY DON'T TAKE RESERVATIONS AND THE LINE IS ALWAYS OUT THE DOOR, IN THE SUMMERTIME ITS OUT THE DOOR AND DOWN THE STREET. COME WITH AN APPETITE BECAUSE THE SERVINGS ARE HUGE

Used to come here as a child all the time! Place has not changed in 25+ years since I last went! Literally the pizza tastes exactly the same - very unique pizza and that is a good thing! The sausage is home made - highly recommend a sausage pie! I will be making a trip to Roseland Apizza much more often!

This is one of my family's favorite haunts. My wife loves the clams casino and it's a must have, or so I'm told! The antipasto salad is amazing with so many veggies, and various meats and cheeses with a drizzle of delicious oil and vinegar. We got two pies this time, we did a large pepperoni, mozzarella and mushroom, and a small BBQ chicken. Both were cooked perfectly flat and crispy in the most delicious of styles, New Haven, at least to us. A definite must try if you're in the area. Just one friendly reminder. Put your name on the list!

The pizza had a great flavor. It wasn't cooked that great though: the crust was burnt and middle was too soft. The service was slow, but that's understandable, because the place was packed.

Food is always delicious, never been disappointed, generous portions and great service.

This is really a 4 1/2 star. The staff are very welcoming and the pizza is really good. Mash potato pizza with broccoli and sausage was tremendous and visibly appealing. The regular cheese pizza on the other hand was just a little too oily for me, but I'm must emphasize that it was still very tasty. I can see why this place is popular- We will come again!

Haven't been here for a while, and it's been too long. The food is as good as ever. The cold antipasto was spot on, generous portions, quality Italian meats and the balsamic dressing was fantastic. Great pasta dishes, the house made lobster ravioli was delicious. They were loaded, stuffed with fresh lobster, with an amazing lobster cream sauce, served with a lobster tail on top. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is excellent and the food is top notch. Local favorite for decades

Roseland Apizza is a 10 out of 10 experience everytime, went yesterday with my friend for the first time and ordered the Sausage and Broccoli Rob and the Shrimp Casino. The best Pizza Restaurant in the Naugatuck Valley for sure. The quality of the food and the timing that it took to get done is exactly why I'm a repeat customer. Would recommend to anyone!

It seemed like the entire town of Derby goes here over the weekends. I must admit that there were things about this place that worried me when I first got there, but once food was served it was fantastic. Their house salad is the best I've had at any pizza place, and probably could be a meal in itself. Their traditional red pizza was as good if not better than Sally's, and I was hooked after the first slice.

It was a good experiance. Place was hopping and the food was good. (The bread DELICIOUS!!) I dont think the pizzas I had lived up to all the hype. A little pricey but it was a decent pie. My only gripe is it was not the cleanest spot. The light fixture above me had cobwebs hanging off of it and some of the bulbs were burnt out. Looks like the maintenance/cleaning crew has taking a little time off.

If you haven't been here. You're missing out on some of the best pizza! Great service too. More than pizza also. They accept credit cards. Cash only for tips.

We ordered out! Pizza was ready at the exact time they quoted us. It smelled phenomenal. We made it home before eating but barely. An extra large split between three people was gone in 20 minutes. SO GOOD. ingredients were fresh, we're flavorful. Their sauce is excellent and , to my surprise, their thin crust is great! The edge of the crust was hard and crunchy with it's own stand alone flavor. (Most of the time crust just tastes like bread. 🤷🏽‍♀️) total was $26 with drinks. All in all no more expensive than any other pizza place but quality far surpasses most. Thank you!!

Oh my... Real pizza. The best. The mozzarella pie is fantastic, and the grated cheese pie is unique and amazing.

Food was delicious. Portions large enough to bring home leftovers to enjoy again. Salads were great, and the Italian bread is made on site (awesome and sooo good).We will be back!

It’s good to be back in Connecticut where some of the country’s best pizza can be found. Roseland is one of the best you can find.

Drove in from an hour away and wasn't disappointed. This is an old-school Italian pizza joint with history and I love it. Their pizza is awesome. Great crunchy / charred crust. Beautiful toppings. Really hospitable staff. I highly recommend the white pie w/ broccoli rabe, sausage, and garlic. We took a chicken parm grinder to go and it was delicious.

Been coming here for 10 years, it is the only place my family can agree on. The pizza is some of the best around, it has a great crust and the meatball pie is hard to beat. Some other great dishes are the lobster ravioli and seafood medley. The flavors truly make you give a chefs kiss! The staff is always so kind and treat everyone like family.

We love the poor man's pie from here. Their pizza is compared to pizza you get in New Haven. The pizza is pretty pricey so we do not choose this place all the time and sometimes the wait is too long.

Great little place. It's sporting a "B" rating at the moment, but that hasn't stopped the continued flow of customers. Heck, who's own house carries an "A" rating all of the time? (Be honest people..lol) I'd definitely go again, and recommend it to one and all...

Very good food a bit pricey but big portioned. Enjoyed everything we had. Only thing looks old would be nice to update restaurant.

Heard great things about this place. I placed an order and was told it would be an hour. I waited 20 minutes and then drove 40 minutes to pick it up. When I got there, I was told they were "busy" and it will be another 40 minutes. Take down phone numbers so you can call people and tell them their pizza is going to be extremely late. Or better yet, when you tell someone an hour, make the pizza in an hour. Never had this pizza and now I never will, and sadly this will be the only experience I have to share with people if they ever ask me about me.

Just came from there. The Seafood pizza was $68.00 and worth every penny. The service was so so . I would have tipped the waitress more but I had to call her over. Next time I'll just get take out.

This a great place! The plain sauce pizza was phenomenal. I was surprised because I normally like my pizza with cheese! I'd order that again. The shrimp pizza was no joke. Jumbo sized shrimp and clams. This pizza was expensive but worth it. Friendly staff, good selection of pizzas. Simple place. I'f be happy to go there again!
